Bad to the Bronze

I have been hearing a lot about these and so I picked one up. I wasn't expecting it to last 24hr on me or be super special but for about $6 I thought it was worth trying. The colour I chose was Bad to the Bronze, a lot of the colours were sold out, but this is one I wanted to try anyway. It is a pretty shimmery bronze colour and it goes on smoothly. I think it is a colour you could wear everyday.

Without a primer: The eyeshadow only lasted a few hours before creasing, but I was not surprised. I always use a primer or my shadow creases. For a cream product this held up quite nicely. I have yet to try it as a base with a powder shadow over it and see if it creases as quickly.

With my Two Faced primer: I have been wearing this for 12+ hours and not a crease in sight. The colour is vibrant just as it was when I put it on. This shadow makes it easy for a quick and pretty eye look. There are about 10 other shades and I definitely want to try them out.

I would recommend this, I think if you have drier eyelids it would last a lot longer on you without a primer and for the price it doesn't hurt to pick one up and give it a try!

I have heard great things about the acne spot treatment and I already use the Cetaphil gentle cleanser so I wanted to try the lotion. I got the mini travel one to test out, how cute!

Leopard Love:Sneakers

As I may have mentioned before, I love all things leopard. I really want these shoes from Aldo but they did not have my size at the store ( there was only one pair left). They are so cute and look so comfy, the reviews on Aldo's website also say that they are comfy to walk in. They are also on sale! Ahh, I could order them online but I don't know what size as each shoe is different. Should I just order them? Does anyone have them? Image is from the Aldo website.

Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque

What it says: A revitalizing hair reconstructor for dry, damaged hair. Macadamia and Argan oils combine with tea tree and chamomile oils, aloe and algae extracts to produce miracle like hair rejuvenation.

What I think: I love this product. It says to use it no more than twice a week and to leave it on for at least 7 minutes. I have used it a few times and it makes my hair so soft and manageable. I have been colouring my hair recently and wanted to give it some extra care. I wanted to try this masque after hearing a lot of rave reviews. It makes my hair very shiny and healthy looking, never greasy. If your hair has been feeling a little bit dry or you are just looking for a good conditioning mask I would give this a try. I purchased this in a gift set with a bunch of other Macadamia products, but I am still trying them out.

You Smell Nice #4

Hypnotic Poison by Dior

This is not a newly released scent, but it is new to me. I wanted to smell this after watching a YouTube video where it was described as a gorgeous vanilla smell. I love vanilla so I was definitely interested. I went to Shoppers Drug Mart quite some time ago and smelled a bunch of Dior fragrances. I already own and like Miss Dior Cherie. This one stood out and it is in fact, a gorgeous vanilla smell. I waited until after Christmas to purchase it and I also had a coupon so it worked out pretty well.

The Scent: Described as an oriental, bold and feminine with just the right amount of sweetness. Love it.

Notes: Bitter Almond, Caraway Spice, Sambac Jasmine, Jacarandra, Vanilla and Musk.

I got the 30ml which was about $56.00 Canadian. They also had a shower gel and body lotion. I really have been loving this fragrance and have gotten a few compliments when I have worn it.

My First NYX Haul!

NYX Cosmetics Haul

These are the first NYX products I have ever tried, they do not sell NYX in my area as far as I know. I have never seen the products in person. I had heard good things about these four items and I purchased them from BeautyJoint.com. The products were all only a couple of dollars each and shipping was $3.50. Total order was only $14.00. I will definitely be ordering more NYX soon!

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in 604 Milk A NYX staple. I have heard about this product countless times on YouTube. Great for using as a base or eyeliner, inner corner highlight etc. Paid $2.99

NYX Round Lipsticks in 617 Summer Love (Pinky nude) & 569 Snow White (Brick Red) I love these and am very happy with the colours I chose, they are creamy and long wearing. Paid $1.99 each.

NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Sugar Pie Beautiful colour (nude-pink) and very creamy. I have heard some people say they hate the smell of these but I think it smells amazing like cherry or candy. Paid $3.75

Vanilla Bean Noel shower gel by Bath & Body Works

Vanilla Bean Noel is a warm blend of fresh vanilla bean, warm caramel and rich, comforting cream. I loved this shower gel so much I used it up in no time. Lathers and cleans your skin well and smells so good!

Glitter & Sparkles

Anything with a lot of sparkle and glitter! Mac Reflects Transparent Teal and Reflects Antique Gold Glitter, OPI Crown Me Already and China Glaze Lorelei's Tiara glitter polish, and Lise Watier Eye Glitter liner in Pink Lady.

Leopard Bracelet

This pretty bracelet came from a set my Mom bought and she told me to pick a few. I loved this one and I chose it. Looks very pretty alone or with other bracelets.

Red Lips!

Bought all of these recently except the Revlon Lip gloss which I have owned for a long time, and have been loving each and every one!

NYX Snow White, Revlon Matte In The Red, Revlon Colorburst Lipstick Crimson, Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Love That Red, Revlon Midnight Swirl Lip Lustre Cran-tilly Lace (can you tell I LOVE Revlon?) and Hard Candy Glossaholic Lip gloss in Fireball.
