I love both of these beautiful glitter polishes so much I couldn't decide and so I chose to wear both. China Glaze Eye Candy 3-D glitter (Marilyn Monroe inspired collection) is a gorgeous silver based polish with blue glitter and OPI Crown Me Already (Miss Universe collection) is a silver with multi size silver glitter. Very fun shades for New Years or anytime.

You Smell Nice #3

Meow! by Katy Perry

I have the first Katy Perry fragrance called Purr and so I was so excited when I seen this at Sears when I was Christmas shopping. I smelled it, fell in love and added it to my Christmas list. My husband bought this for me and not only does it smell wonderful, it looks super cute next to my purple Purr Bottle.

The Scent: A lovely wearable scent. Delicate and feminine, a little bit sweeter than the original Purr. I actually prefer this one (I think!)

Notes: Tangerine, Pear, Gardenia, Jasmine, Honeysuckle, Lily of the Valley, Orange Blossoms,Vanilla, Musk Amber, Sandalwood.

I received this as a Christmas gift, I have not seen any gift sets or lotions etc. as of yet. The only downside is that in my opinion, the scent is very light and does not last long, but I still love the way it smells.

Smitten With Mittens by OPI is one of my most favourite nail polishes for the Christmas season. It is a beautiful red colour with gold and red glitter. This polish is from the 2009 Holiday Wishes collection and I wear it every year with much happiness while I wait for Santa!

Mistletoe Kisses

Mistletoe Kisses by China Glaze from their 2010 Holiday collection but new to me. A beautiful emerald green polish with silver glitter. I don't own a lot of greens so this is a nice addition to my collection. A perfect colour for the holiday season.

Keep Your Face Free Of Dry Winter Skin!

Olay Replenishing Night Cream

I have been using this for years. I first tried it back in 2006ish. I had been using the Clinique three step skin care system and I wasn't seeing any results so I quit using it. I had never had dry flaky skin before, but when I stopped using that system, my face looked and felt horrible. It was dry and flaking. I tried a lot of different moisturizers. Even a $ 50.00 one and it didn't eliminate the dryness. My mom had always used Olay so she had this night cream in her bathroom. I tried it and the next morning my skin looked and felt 100% better.

Some info: Improves firmness overnight with intense moisture. Enriches skin with intense moisture to leave it soft and smooth while soothing skin's dryness for up to 12 hours. Firms skin as you rest. Infuses skin with replenishing moisture to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Helping to store skin to its natural beauty.

Final thoughts: This creme smells very nice- a light smell, and gets the job done but without being greasy. I may try new products but I always come back to this, especially in the winter and my skin is flake free. I buy it at Walmart for about $8.00 Canadian.

Baby Lips & Love That Red

Maybelline Baby Lips// Revlon Love That Red Lipstick

New Maybelline Baby Lips SPF 20 Moisturizing Lip Balm. I seen this and wanted to try it paid over $6 for one at Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada and then only $3 and something at Walmart oh well haha. They are very nice and smell great!

The product (according to packaging and website): No more basic lip balm! 8-hr hydration moisturizes, revitalizes, and renews lips. SPF 20 protection. After 4 weeks of use lips are reborn.

Comes in a variety of colours, I have three. Quenched, Peppermint and Peach Kiss. The colours are sheer, but pretty and very shiny.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in 725 Love That Red (Creme)

My first red lipstick! (I think?) This is a nice bright red. It goes on very creamy and smooth. I think I would have liked it to be a little deeper in colour, in some light it almost looks pinkish but it is still very pretty. Do you guys have any recommendations for a nice red lipstick?

Lots Of Lashes!

Maybelline Great Lash Lots Of Lashes Mascara

I have never tried the original great lash mascara but always heard great things about it. I showed this version when I purchased it in a earlier post. It was only $3.96 at Walmart and the packaging is cute!

This mascara says: Our favourite mascara now gives the look of more lashes than ever due to the Great Little Grabber brush. The Grabber brush easily reaches all lashes in just one swipe even in the corners without the clumps.

The little brush is awesome, it really does reach all of your lashes easily. I love how it is so easy to apply and instantly my lashes are bigger and I can keep building volume with no clumps or flakes. I have been using it for a while now, I love it and you can't beat the price.

All A-Bordeaux The Sled!

This polish is from the 2009 Holiday Wishes collection. It is described as a brown-wine creme colour. I really only wear this colour around the holiday season. I need to remember that I have it throughout the rest of the year. I like that it looks dark from further back, but upon closer inspection it is definitely a reddish brown.
