Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday Season!!

What I am wearing!

Smitten With Mittens by OPI with Snowman Glitter. Smitten With Mittens is my favourite colour to wear for Christmas (See last years post!) A beautiful red with gold and red glitter mixed in makes it sparkle and perfect to wear for Christmas. I bought the cute little Snowman glitter that is on my ring fingers from Meijer for about $2.00 and it is just a cute red/green glitter.

Leopard Love: New Comfies

Women's Flurry Moc Shoe

I fell in love with these adorable little shoes after seeing them in Leopard print at Payless. They are so comfortable and they could be worn indoor/outdoor. I sprayed mine with a rain and stain protector to protect them when wearing them outside.

Description from the Payless website: This super comfy Airwalk moc features a faux suede upper with a cute shoelace detail, a roomy round toe, soft furry lining and an ultra flexible outsole. Fabric and manmade materials.

Bath & Body Works Haul Oct/Nov 2012

Cashmere,Vanilla Bean & Adorable Owls

As soon as I heard BBW was coming out with Cashmere Glow, I knew I would love it. The scent is described as "an enticing blend of shimmering vanilla and golden peach wrapped in soft cashmere musk". It smells wonderful and I loved it right away. Of course, I picked up a few things.

This little set came with the cute bag, body lotion, body wash (not shown) and a fragrance mist. I purchased this for $12.50 because it was a special that day if you bought something from this line you could buy this at half price.

This adorable 30 ml sized fragrance came in a cute ornament and is the perfect size to take with you so you can always have this warm & cozy scent available.

I talked about this scent last year in a post, but Vanilla Bean Noel is one of my Holiday favourites. It smells like a warm blend of fresh vanilla bean, warm caramel and rich, comforting cream.

I bought a full size body wash (not shown) and this cute little set that came with a body sponge, lotion, body wash and fragrance mist. I wish they would make the perfume for this scent.

This Adorable Owl Oil Warmer has been filling my home with the wonderful Bath & Body Works Leaves smell for all of October and November.

Nails Of The Moment Nov 01/2012

Got The Blues For Red

I wanted this polish after seeing it on AllThatGlitters21 nails on YouTube. I am glad I picked it up it applies beautifully. It is from the Chicago collection and is a gorgeous dark red. OPI says it is "A melodious blue-red hat hits all the right notes". It is one of my new favourites for fall and winter.

You Smell Nice #5

Wonderstruck Enchanted by Taylor Swift

I find it fitting to do this post not only because I adore this smell and everything about the perfume but because my first ever blog post was for Taylor's first fragrance. Wonderstruck Enchanted is the follow up perfume to last years Wonderstruck.

According to Taylor “Wonderstruck Enchanted is the next chapter in the story of my Wonderstruck fragrance. Wonderstruck is about that moment when you instantly feel a connection to someone, but then there’s that feeling of being completely enamored - enchanted - when you know a little more about that someone and still feel that strong connection.”

The Scent: An Oriental Gourmand, I find this version of Wonderstruck sweeter and a little more grown up.

Notes: Wild Berries, Passion Fruit, Pink Poppy, Peony, Champaca Petals, White Freesia, White Musk, Vanilla, Blond Woods.

I purchased the 50ml bottle in Canada for $63, as soon as I see the body lotion available I will definitely be buying that to layer with this beautiful fragrance.

I ♡ Fall Tag!

1. Favourite Fall lip product?

My favourite fall lip product would have to be my Eos Lipbalms and my other numerous chap sticks and lip glosses!

 2. Favourite Fall Nail Polish?

OPI's Bogota Blackberry and Lincoln Park After Dark. I also can't wait to pick up and try Got The Blues For Red.

3. Favourite Starbucks Fall Drink?

Pumpkin Spice Latte (just like everyone else!)

4. Favourite Fall Candle?

Leaves from Bath & Body Works. According to BBW smells of ripe delicious apples, red berries and golden nectar. Yummy!

5. Favourite Fall Scarf or accessory

I have two leopard print ones I love. One is  sheer black and white printed and one is a brown printed scarf that is more warm and cozy.

6. Haunted house, haunted hay ride, or haunted corn maze?

I have never been to any, but I would say haunted house.

7. Favourite Halloween movie?

It has been Hocus Pocus ever since I was younger.

8. Favourite candy to eat on Halloween?

Candy Corn and Rockets!

9. What are you dressing up as for Halloween?!

Myself.

10. What is your Favourite thing about Fall?

I never appreciated fall until my husband mentioned it was one of his favourite seasons and I began to understand. I love the changing leaves and cooler crisp weather. Boots, Fall Candles, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Apple Cinnamon tea, Carving Pumpkins, Handing out Candy, Comfy Sweaters and going to this local fair that happens in my area every fall.

Nails Of The Moment Oct 5/2012

Metallic 4 Life

This polish is from OPI's Nicki Minaj collection that was released earlier this year. I purchased it a few months ago and this is my fist time wearing it. I love it. On the OPI website, they describe it as "This charcoal sparkle flies with the stars in the skies" I think that is a pretty accurate description. It is a black base with different sized silver glitter.

Fall For This

Fall Cuteness

Summer has come and gone and of course I am sad to see it go and dreading the cooler weather. Like every year this changes and becomes much easier once I head into Bath & Body Works and see all the cute fall items and scents. I want to buy the whole store! Here are a few cute things I left with:

I love this adorable little owl! It is one of the Luxe Wallflowers and it came with the Leaves scent (which I also have in candle form and I love).

A cute little Pumpkin candle holder! I bought two mini candles to go inside. The one in right now is smores and it smells delicious. I will definitely be returning to BBW very soon.

Happy Fall!!

Nails Of The Moment July 30/12

Shocking Pink

I love this colour for summer so I chose it for my manicure and pedicure I had done today (only the second time in my life I have had a pedicure!). China Glaze Shocking Pink (Neon) is from the High Voltage/Wow Factor collection and is a beautiful bright neon pink that goes well with a summer tan. I do not know what the glitter polish used on the ring finger is called. I just used it in the salon, it is not my own.

(weird to post a pic of my foot, but the design is so cute!)

Cheap Thrills

Recent Pickups June 2012

Even buying the smallest of items makes my heart feel happy (haha!) I spent less than $10.00 at Walmart and just thought I would share what I got.

White Chocolate Face Mask - Under $2.00
All this really says is that it is an ultra deep cleansing masque, but it is going to smell like white chocolate so I had to try it out. I have not gotten one of these masks in forever.

Orabrush Tongue Cleaner- Under $5.00
On the packaging it says "As seen on YouTube" that is in fact where I heard about this little tool. It may not seem like much, but I am excited to try this and have an extra clean tongue!

Herbal essences Drama Clean Shampoo- $2.00
I have tried this before and as far as I can remember it just cleaned my hair pretty well. I have been using a lot of creamy shampoos lately and I just wanted a clear shampoo to get rid of the buildup. The $2.00 was calling my name, and it smells great.

Ciaté Caviar Manicure

First impression & Review

I had seen some DIY Caviar nail tutorials on YouTube and thought it was a neat idea, but when I saw the Ciaté Caviar Manicure set at Sephora, I knew I needed to get it. I fell in love with the white Mother of Pearl set, so that is the one I ended up purchasing. They are all gorgeous, but the white stood out on the nail swatches a little bit more.

[Above images from Sephora.com]

The set was $28 Canadian and is really easy to use. Take everything out of the package and have the tray ready. You apply the first coat of nail polish and let it dry, The next step is done one nail at a time. Place the tray that is provided under your hand to catch any fallout beads. Apply a second coat and then sprinkle the beads on your nail. After sprinkling, pat down the beads into your nail bed so that they adhere better. Ciaté recommends adding a top coat to nail tips only. You have to allow this to dry for 15-20 minutes (which is a long time, because you suddenly need to do everything after doing your nails, or is that just me?).

I adore the way this looks. It gives a 3D effect and is unique and different than the typical polish and manicure. It says it will last up to 48 hours, which is not a long time to begin with, but I noticed that the beads begin to fall off right away. Although I let them dry for the recommended amount of time, the beads do come off and I have not been doing anything other than working on the computer. I am curious to see how they will hold up in the shower when I wash my hair, or anything similar. I heard that nail glue will keep the beads on longer so I may try that next time. You can also buy beads from your local craft store if you want to try this trend for a cheaper price/bigger colour selection, I was just suckered in by the gorgeous display at Sephora (of course!). I don't regret buying these and I may buy the other colours depending on lasting power  and how much I find myself wearing it.
